We also know that emotional eating, bingeing, late night snacking, those annoying food habits really trip us up and slow us down. I know what you’re thinking, I've tried before and it didn't work. Oh, I know the feeling, I tried so many times with dieting, restriction and excessive exercise and I never got anywhere, not long term but then I discovered the missing piece of the puzzle, my mindset.
You see I had no idea that emotional eating and my weight loss battles were happening in my mind (No I don't mean you're imagining it) But your mind is firing triggers and emotions that create the behaviours and habits. Once I connected these dots and started to work on the emotions that were making me want to eat when I wasn't hungry, the emotional eating stopped...AMAZING!
Ever since doing this, the weight dropped off, my confidence came back and I feel amazing, and the best bit is, I’ve stayed the same ever since.
What I’ve learned from my years of working on me is that taking care of your mind is THE most important thing you can do. When you can learn to master your emotions, and those sabotaging thoughts, then you can do anything.
When you stop trying to fill your life up with all the external distractions; food, alcohol, social media, binge watching tv, shopping and instead actually look at why you’re needing those things in your life to make you feel happy, you’ll start to uncover a really powerful secret.
To be truly whole, healed and happy you HAVE to do the inner work, you have to address the root of why you’re using food, what void you’re trying to fill. When you can identify this and resolve it internally, not only will you stop eating emotionally and lose weight, but your whole life will change for the positive.

Before working with Leanne I had struggled with my weight my whole life. I tried every diet imaginable but nothing worked long term. Who Am I?
Hey, I'm Leanne
If we haven't met properly yet, I'm the founder of Mind Over Muffin and an Emotional Eating Coach for women who are ready to kick that habit for good. I struggled for many years with emotional eating, binge eating and weight loss. I drove myself to the lowest point, gained 17kgs by eating to cover up my emotions, I'd then feel so bad about myself that I'd eat again to make myself feel better, oh what a frustrating vicious circle!
I tried every diet out there, I cut out carbs, cut out fat, restricted my calories, lived on crackers, went on hunger strikes, did body wraps, took weight loss pills, slimming shakes, went to bootcamps, joined the gym, bought workout DVD's and none of it would work for me long term. It was a nightmare. I decided I was a failure and was destined to be this way forever, hit my lowest point and wanted to crawl in a hole and hide.
Skip forward 5 years and here I am fully transformed, having lost the weight (without having to diet) feeling confident and comfortable in my body again, loving life and showing other woman how to do the same!
I want to let you in on a secret, the answer is NOT in food focused, restrictive, soul crushing plans, it's in YOU. That's right!
The answers to solve this problem already exist right inside of you, you just need to know the tools to unlock them.
You see, when I hit my lowest point I felt out of control emotionally and physically so I started to work on my emotions and the things I was carrying from the past (a bad break up, being cheated on and not feeling I was good enough) and from doing this, by letting go of this internal weight I was carrying and filling myself up with life instead of food, everything started to change.
The emotional eating stopped, the weight started to shift and most importantly I started to love being me again!
